Petroleum Development Oman is the foremost exploration and production company in the Sultanate of Oman. It accounts for more than 90% of the country's crude-oil production and nearly all of its natural-gas supply. The company is owned by the Government of Oman (which has a 60% interest), Royal Dutch Shell (which has a 34% interest), Total (which has a 4% interest), and Partex (which has a 2% interest). The first economic find of oil was made in 1962, and the first consignment of oil was exported in 1967. |

Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry
The OCCI is a public utility organization whose goals are to regulate the trade and industrial interests, their representation, development and act to defend them in various fields. The OCCI makes all possible efforts to stimulate the country's economic activity through its active and continuous participation in implementing various development plans aimed at diversifying the inflow sources of the national income. This is achieved by encouraging the private sector companies and establishments to set up and execute industrial, agricultural and commercial development projects |

Oman Society for Petroleum Services
Oman Society for Petroleum Services was the first society to be officially approved and registered in the Sultanate of Oman. This took place on the 27th October, 2001 under the regulations governing the formation of societies issued by the Ministry of Social Development. Since then, OPAL has been working with like-minded companies to promote industry standards and create a level playing field in the areas of best business practices, training initiatives, employment practices and QHSE. OPAL now has over three hundred members representing all the key players in Oil and Gas as well as those who service the industry. |

Oman International Exhibition Centre S.A.O.C. is the sole state-owned organization that is equipped to hold large-scale exhibitions and trade fairs in the Sultanate of Oman.
The Exhibitions Centre is situated in close proximity to the Muscat International Airport, which is 35 km from the city center (Muscat). The facility is provided with a large parking area and easy access to, from both sides of the building.
Since its inception in 1985 the centre has been the main venue in the Sultanate for various events such as exhibitions, fairs and variety shows. These events have attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. We are also the Sultanate’s major provider of facilities for off-site exhibitions. |
